“I wanted the towel I'd always wished existed. Soft, considered, and actually built for a woman's day.”

Deyshine started in the shower, with the same dilemma every time I'm on my period: step out and stain your good towel with blood, or rush a pad on while you're still dripping just to save it. The products meant for period care either felt like a hospital or pretended the body didn't exist. We didn't want either.

So we made the towel ourselves. Then we made it again. And again, until it felt like the kind of thing a friend would hand you, not the kind of thing you'd hide in a drawer.

Start with the towel and your pockets. Snap a reusable terry pocket on for everyday, or a disposable one for period days and days when washing isn't practical.

Reusable. We designed the towel and the terry pockets to be the everyday reusable system. The terry pockets are washable and made to be reused.

Disposable. The white disposable pockets are single-use, perfect for period days and days when washing isn't practical. Four disposable pockets are included with every Smart Towel as a bonus, and additional packs can be purchased separately.

Yes. The towels and the terry pockets are designed to be washed and reused. The disposable pockets are for one time use. The full care guide ships with the towel. Simple, but it matters.
The detachable pocket system targets areas a regular towel can't, and lets you wash those pockets separately so the whole thing stays fresher, longer.
Machine wash the towel cold with like colors, and tumble dry low. The reusable terry pockets snap off and wash separately so the towel itself stays fresh longer. The white disposable pockets are single-use, do not wash them. Skip fabric softener, it shortens the life of cotton.
Each Smart Towel package ships with the towel, a set of reusable terry pockets, and two bonus single-use disposable pockets for travel days. Additional disposable pocket packs can be purchased separately.
