This Privacy Policy explains how Deyshine (“Deyshine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit deyshine.com or purchase the Smart Towel. It also describes the rights available to you under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and how to exercise them.
By using our site or services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Deyshine is a direct-to-consumer brand based in Atlanta, Georgia. We can be reached at deyshinetowels@gmail.com.
2. Categories of personal information we collect
In the past twelve months we may have collected the following categories of personal information about California residents and other users:
- Identifiers. Email address, name, postal address, phone number, account identifiers, and IP address.
- Commercial information. Products purchased, purchase history, and product interests.
- Internet and other electronic network activity information. Browsing history on our site, referring pages, device and browser information, and interactions with our emails.
- Geolocation data. Approximate location derived from IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation.
- Inferences. Preferences and characteristics derived from the categories above.
We do not collect or process any sensitive personal information (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or racial/ethnic origin) through this site.

5. Categories of third parties we share with
We share personal information with the following categories of service providers, each contractually limited to using the information only for the purposes we specify:
- Klaviyo — email marketing platform that stores and sends emails to our subscribers
- Shopify — e-commerce platform that hosts the store and processes orders
- Vercel — hosting provider for the website, including anonymous performance and traffic analytics
- Meta — for advertising and conversion measurement when you visit our site after seeing one of our ads
- Google — for search and advertising measurement
- Payment processors handling card transactions through Shopify
- Shipping carriers for order fulfillment
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of Meta and Google advertising cookies may be considered a “sale” or “share” under the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to opt out — see Section 8.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use essential cookies (to keep the site working), analytics cookies (to measure traffic), and advertising cookies (for retargeting on Meta and Google). You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request to sell or share your personal information.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. Marketing emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept for seven years for tax and accounting purposes.
8. Your California consumer rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to know. Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information, so this right does not apply to our processing.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different quality of services because you exercised any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at deyshinetowels@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request,” or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information form. We will verify your identity by asking you to confirm two pieces of personal information we already hold (such as the email used to sign up). We respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension for complex requests.
You may also authorize an agent to act on your behalf. The agent must provide proof of authorization signed by you.
9. Children's privacy
Deyshine is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
11. International users
Deyshine is based in the United States. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by email when possible.
